Ball bearing pulleys and brass trolley 10October06
Yesterday, when searching the labs garbage at the university, I found a couple of ball bearing pulleys.
For testing purpose, I quickly built some kind of crane hook…which will be quite useless to me as I do not plan on building one.
I’m rather satisfied as the bearings roll very smoothly and seem sturdy. The result is not very elegant, moreover it was my first brass brazing, but still I’m happy about the result.
I did a few tests using my desk lamp as a crane and built a small brass trolley, similar to those used in tower or overhead cranes.
