Introduction and contact

Hi all, welcome on this introduction page!

moi
What’s the purpose of these pages?

I’m David and I’m living in Liège, Belgium where I’m working as a chemical engineer in a research lab. I speak French and initially wrote this blog in French. I started to translate it in August 2010, when I noticed that most of my readers where located in English speaking countries.

These pages are not for telling you my private life, they are more a “workshop notebook” I use to sort, organize and show to my friends the different projects I’m working on.

The blog structure allows me to organize stuff in time, to add tags which is pretty handy and to access these information from everywhere in the world. Moreover, the online publishing of these texts makes me more careful and zealous about what I write. So, for now, I couldn’t find any better tool than this blog to keep track of my work.

Acknowledgments

This blog is powered by WordPress, a very cool free web software: thanks to all the people working on it. The Water theme was designed by the undersigned.
These pages would be messy and awful without the help of 3 friends I bothered many times with technical questions. Many thanks to Laurent, Nicolas and Philippe (alphabetical order) for their availability and their patience.

I hope you will enjoy reading these pages and I encourage you to subscribe and comment the articles, in French or English.
